    John Nixon

    Regional President

    John Nixon manages Grandpoint's banking operations in Orange County and the South Bay Region. Prior to joining Grandpoint, he was Senior Vice President of Preferred Bank, where he worked from 1994 to 2010. In that capacity, Nixon managed a team of Business Development Officers and underwriting staff whose efforts were focused in corporate finance, real estate development and professional services. Additionally, he was involved with credit administration, strategic planning, human resources and special assets.

    Previously, John was with Marathon Bank in Los Angeles. He worked in various capacities at Marathon, including business development, commercial lending, real estate lending and credit administration. Prior to that, John was employed by regional banks located in the Southwest.

    John earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Oklahoma.

    Before joining Grandpoint, Richard Bianchini was Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Orange Community Bank, which merged with Grandpoint in August 2011. He was a founding executive management member of Orange Community when the bank was formed in 2000.

    Previously, Richard worked in commercial lending at Orange National Bank/Citizens Business Bank from 1984 until 2000, and at Wells Fargo Bank from 1981 to 1984.

    He is the Past President and current Treasurer of the Orange North Rotary Club, where he also served as International Service Director, Community Service Director and Events Chair. He is a board member of the Y.M.C.A. of Orange, and an active participant in local charity fundraising programs.

    Richard earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He has also attended the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

    Ed Myska brings more than 30 years of commercial banking experience to his role as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Grandpoint Bank’s South Bay office in El Segundo. Before joining Grandpoint in 2010, Ed was an Executive Vice President at Bank of Manhattan’s El Segundo office, where he was responsible for developing banking relationships in the South Bay and West Los Angeles.

    Ed was Senior Vice President of First Coastal Bank, working out of the bank’s Manhattan Beach and El Segundo offices, from 1997 until the bank was acquired by CVB Financial Corp. in 2007. Previously he served as Senior Vice President of Marathon National Bank in West Los Angeles, heading up business development and marketing.

    He serves on the board of Mychal’s Learning Place and is Vice Chair of the El Segundo Educational Foundation Advisory Committee. He is a member and former Vice Chair of the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce; member of the Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council; and member of American Martyrs Church in Manhattan Beach. Ed was the former president of Community Associations Institute, Los Angeles Chapter, and former Treasurer of the board of directors of Herald Publications.

    He received a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge, and he attended Arizona State University Executive Leadership School, and the graduate study program in banking and finance at the University of California, Los Angeles.

    Tiffany Clyne serves clients out of the bank’s El Segundo office as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager. She joined the Bank in 2010 as Vice President and Relationship Manager shortly after Grandpoint opened its El Segundo office. Most of her more than 28 years in banking have been focused in the South Bay.

    Previously, Tiffany worked for Preferred Bank for five years, most recently as Vice President and Branch Manager of the bank’s Century City Regional Office.  Prior to that, Tiffany was with First Coastal Bank from 1999 until 2005, where she served as Vice President in the lending division and then in business development at the bank’s Gardena office.  She also held positions at American Independent Bank and Glendale Federal Bank. She began her banking career at Republic Bank.

    Tiffany is active in the South Bay community and volunteers with the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation.
