Don M. Griffith -
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Send emailDon Griffith founded Grandpoint Capital, Inc., the parent company of Grandpoint Bank in 2008. Previously, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of First Coastal Bancshares and First Coastal Bank, N.A., from 1996 until the bank's acquisition by CVB Financial in 2007.
From 1993 to 1995, Griffith served as Founder and Chairman of Peninsula National Bank. In 1989, Griffith founded D.M. Griffith & Co., an investment firm that assisted Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. in its investment in the Fleet Financial Group in 1991 and the eventual purchase of the Bank of New England from the FDIC. From 1979 to 1988, Griffith served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of First Interstate Bancorp. Previously, he worked at Bank of America and Citibank.
He formerly served on the board of directors of Wedbush, Inc., the parent holding company of Wedbush, Morgan Securities, Inc.
Griffith earned a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, a master's degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor's degree in political science from Stanford University.
Deborah A. Marsten -
Vice Chair & Chief Operating Officer
Send emailPrior to becoming a founding member of the Grandpoint executive team, Deborah Marsten served as Vice Chair of the Board and Chief Operating Officer of First Coastal Bancshares and First Coastal Bank from 1996 through the sale of the Bank to CVB Financial in 2007. During her tenure at First Coastal, she managed the acquisition and consolidation of three community banks, centralized operations support and risk control, and redesigned and expanded management reporting systems.
Marsten also co-founded DataTech Management, Inc., a data outsourcing firm, in 1998, and she was President and CEO of the company. DataTech served small to mid-sized financial institutions in California, Nevada, Arizona and Oregon with loan processing and documentation services. DataTech became part of Grandpoint Bank's Institutional Banking division in 2010.
Prior to joining First Coastal, Marsten ran her own consulting firm, Ourieff and Associates. Her consulting engagements for financial services companies addressed internal controls and risk management, liquidity crisis management, operating expense reduction, and data processing system conversions.
Marsten, whose financial services career began in 1970 at Wells Fargo Bank, previously held a variety of finance positions at community banks in the Los Angeles area.
Jack Feldman -
Vice Chair
Send emailJack Feldman is Vice Chair of Grandpoint Bank and a member of the Bank's board of directors. He oversees Grandpoint's banking operations in the San Fernando Valley and on the Westside. Feldman was previously President and Chief Executive Officer of First Commerce Bank, which merged with Grandpoint in December 2010. He also served on the First Commerce board of directors. Feldman was associated with First Commerce for 12 years.
Before joining First Commerce in 1998, he served as President and CEO of Bank of Los Angeles and American West Bank. He has held a variety of executive positions over the course of his banking career, which was launched in 1954.
Feldman has been active in civic affairs and has served as a director of the Brentwood, Sherman Oaks and Encino chambers of commerce. He served as President of the Encino Chamber in 1988. He is a former director of the Child Development Institute of Woodland Hills. Feldman received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., and his master's degree from St. Mary's College in Moraga, Calif.

Jerro Otsuki -
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Send emailPrior to joining Grandpoint Bank, Jerro Otsuki was a founding officer of Orange Community Bank and served as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2000 through the merger with Grandpoint in 2011. During his tenure at Orange Community Bank, he was responsible for the finance and administrative functions of the bank, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, information technology, human resources, branch operations, facilities, compliance and risk management.
In 1997 Otsuki joined Orange National Bank where he served as Vice President and Controller. He began his banking career in 1987 as Senior Vice President and Controller of Hawthorne Savings. Previously, Otsuki served as a Staff Accountant at Grant Thornton beginning in 1982.
Otsuki earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Accounting from California State University Long Beach. He previously held a CPA designation.
David J. Ross -
Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer
Send emailPrior to joining Grandpoint, David Ross served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Bank of Manhattan in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
From 1999 until 2007, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer and Compliance Officer of El Segundo-based First Coastal Bank. He joined the bank in 1998 as a Senior Lender. Previously, he served as Vice President and Commercial Lender at Republic Bank, where he was in charge of business development and portfolio management. He worked at Marathon National Bank in West Los Angeles from 1988 until 1997, managing the Special Assets/REO and Loan departments. Previously, Ross was a Vice President and Commercial Lender at Imperial Bank and Mitsui Manufacturers Bank. He started his banking career in 1973 at Crocker National Bank, where he held a variety of credit-related positions.
Ross earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Arizona State University. He holds an M.B.A. in finance from San Francisco State University and a graduate certificate from Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
Anthony Q. Evans -
Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer
Send emailBefore joining Grandpoint, Anthony Evans was Executive Vice President at Citizens Business Bank, where he was responsible for all activities supporting internal and external service delivery, including operations, information technology, product management, cash management, compliance and risk management.
In 2005, Evans joined Mellon 1st Business Bank in Los Angeles, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. From 1999 to 2005, Evans was Senior Vice President and Director of Operations for Community Bank with responsibility for operations, information technology, internal audit and loan operations.
From 1998 to 1999, he was Vice President and Manager of Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. Previously, he served as Vice President and Manager for Bank of the West in Los Angeles, and, from 1994 to1997, he was Vice President and Retail Branch Administrator for Manufacturers Bank. He launched his financial services career in 1975 at BankAmerica Corporation/Security Pacific Corporation.
Evans earned his master's degree in business administration and bachelor's degree in management from Pepperdine University.
Loraine White -
Executive Vice President & Director of Human Resources
Send emailPrior to joining Grandpoint, Loraine White was Senior Vice President and Business Partner Manager at City National Bank. In that capacity, she was responsible for all human resources functions for a team of seven executives and more than 1,000 employees. She was a member of the bank's Senior Leadership Group and was a participant in the CNB Speakers Bureau.
White, who has special expertise in leadership development and facilitating strategic planning, was previously in charge of Training and Development in the Lending Division of Home Savings of America. She began her career at the YMCA as Director of Child Care Programs, where she also helped conduct training programs for the national YMCA.
Since 2002, White has served on the Board of Directors of the Downtown Women's Center, an organization that provides permanent housing and a variety of services to the homeless women of Skid Row. White earned a bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne.
Anthony J. Xinis -
Executive Vice President
Send emailAnthony Xinis served as Executive Vice President of First Coastal Bank from 1998 until 2007, where he was responsible for product development and special projects. He also served on the Directors' Loan Committee and the Bank's Asset/Liability Committee.
Prior to joining First Coastal, Xinis spent 25 years with First Interstate Bank and its successor, Wells Fargo Bank. He served as Senior Vice President and Manager of Financial Institutions for the bank from 1992 to 1998. From 1987 to 1991, Xinis served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canada Division of First Interstate Bank, where he managed the bank's commercial banking business in Canada and restructured First Interstate's business lines to focus on trade finance and treasury services. From 1982 to 1987, Xinis was Senior Vice President and Manager of First Interstate's Special Industries Division, focusing on transportation, public utilities and telecommunications companies. He started his financial services career in the same department in 1973, where he served as a relationship manager.
Xinis earned a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and obtained a professional designation in management from the UCLA Graduate School of Business.
